THE JUDGES

Bob Kay (Chairman)

A renowned and highly respected figure in the V-twin and Custom Culture community, Bob Kay has been involved with motorcycling his entire life, racing, riding, and developing the industry. His concepts launched Biker Pros to offer specialized services, education, and bring awareness of the street level custom scene to the corporate Motorcycle industry. He brings overwhelmingly vast experience, understanding, and unique style to the table. Bob Kay Has been part of the Industry for over 40 years, and literally started the modern competition series currently copied around the world.  To have his expertise and History Push for the next Generation of Competition is a True Honor. We doubt few if any person has the credentials to head our Panel over Bob.

Miguel Galluzzi

If not for this judge, there’d be no Ducati Monster, no Aprilia Dorsoduro, no RSV4 or Tuono, no Guzzi V7 Racer or California 1400. Miguel Galuzzi is the mastermind and designer behind these timeless icons of the motorcycle industry and countless other classic motorcycles. Considered one of the most prolific designers of this generation and currently head of Piaggio’s Advanced Design Center in Pasadena, Galuzzi’s knowledge of all things mechanical make him our pick for the Judging Panel.  Obviously, his accomplishments and Passion for design can leave no argument to his expertise on Machines.

As a co-founder of the The Golden Bolt (with hosts The House of Machines), Dunworth is an expert in every facet of bike building having tinkered with two-wheeled machines since the age of 10! Builder, Painter, Designer … and now a Golden Bolt Judge! Skratch (no one actually knows his real name) is the grandson of an Oklahoma moonshine runner and son of a 1950s pinstriper, who started working on hot rods at age 16 in Fort Worth, Texas because it was in his blood. He formed Skratch’s Garage in Sun Valley, California, striping everything from hot rods and lowriders to choppers and refrigerators.
